Washington DC - Congressman Duncan Hunter again expressed strong opposition to H.R. 3962, health care reform legislation put forward by House Democrats.  Hunter voted against the bill, which passed the House late Saturday evening by a vote of 220-215.  He was joined by 39 Democrats and all but one Republican.

Now that the security situation in Iraq is under control and U.S. forces are beginning to rotate out of the region, America is confronted with a challenge of equal significance in Afghanistan. By all accounts, the combat mission in Afghanistan has reached an important crossroad.

I rise today to ask the Obama Administration and Democrats in Congress this question: where are the jobs?
